What kind of organisation is the NAI?
The NAI is a foundation which was established in 1949. Its aim is to promote arbitration as a means of settling disputes. This is done mainly by providing trade and industry with a well-organised arbitral procedure. The NAI is an independent, non-government organisation and receives no subsidy from the government or any other organisation. The NAIs income and expenditure are regulated so that it makes neither a loss nor a profit.
