Other questions

What is the NAI’s opinion with regard to a certain dispute?

The NAI, as an independent administering body, cannot discuss the content of a case.

Can the NAI make available an arbitral award regarding a certain matter?

Arbitral awards made under the auspices of the NAI are not disclosed to third parties. One of the advantages of arbitration is that it is confidential.

However, a number of arbitral awards are published (anonymously) in the ‘Tijdschrift voor Arbitrage’ (journal on arbitration). Parties may file an objection to this.

Does the NAI have the addresses and telephone numbers of a certain arbitration institute in the Netherlands or abroad?

The NAI has the details of the most important arbitration institutes.

These are available on request.
